Mammo’s Whack That Ball event to be at Sanctuary in New Lenox

JOLIET – In honor of Joliet Catholic Academy’s Matt Mammosser, a Mammo’s Whack That Ball golf outing will be held on Friday, June 29 at the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox.

Check-in for the shotgun scramble start is at noon. Golfing will begin at 1 p.m. Cost is $100 per person or $400 per foursome, which includes golf, range, cart, lunch and dinner.

Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and lowest-scoring foursome. Sponsorship and advertisement opportunities are available as well.

Mammosser, a junior football player at JCA, passed away after a valiant five-month battle with brain cancer.
