Blake, Dollinger, and Reardon November students of the month

Joliet Catholic Academy is pleased to announce November’s students of the month; Olivia Blake, Kiwanis Club of Joliet, Nathan Dollinger, Rotary Club of Joliet, and Morgan Reardon, Joliet Noon Lions Club.

Olivia, is the daughter of James and Tami Blake. A senior at JCA, Olivia has been named a 2013 National Merit Commended Student. She is also currently ranked #2 in her class. Olivia is very active on campus as a member of the National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta math honor society. She is also vice president of the Joliet Juniorettes volunteer organization. After high school, she plans to pursue a degree in English or Journalism and become a travel journalist.

Nathan, the son of Ed and Gloria Dollinger is a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.89 on a 4.0 scale. Nathan is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, and Mu Alpha Theta. He also is involved in many extracurricular activities on campus such as Varsity Club, Math Team, and Scholastic Bowl. Nathan is also Student Council vice president, a Student Ambassador, and leader of JCA’s Hillzone. He also plays varsity football and volleyball, as well as club volleyball. Nathan plans to attend Illinois Wesleyan University or Saint Louis University and major in Biology or Health sciences.

Morgan is the daughter of Michael and Sharon Reardon. She is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society. Morgan is also involved in on campus extracurricular activities such as the Respect Life Club, Spanish Club, Key Club and is also a Student Ambassador. Morgan has also been recognized as Herald News Athlete of the Week, and Herald News Player of the Year for Girls Volleyball. She plans to attend Loyola University in Chicago and major in Dentistry.
