Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce its February Students of the Month; Frank Kalisik (Kiwanis Club of Joliet), Brooke Larson (Joliet Noon Lions Club), and Nicholas Lennon (Rotary Club of Joliet).

Frank Kalisik is the son of Frank and Kathy Kalisik. He has been a Kairos leader, Key Club Treasurer, a team member of the boy’s varsity volleyball, the co-founder of the guitar club, and a part of Mu Alpha Theta. After JCA, Frank plans to attend the University of St. Francis with a major in Psychology and a minor in History and is planning on attending Grad school with a Doctorate in Psychology and become a Psychiatrist.

Brooke Larson is the daughter of Michael and Robin Larson. Her favorite subjects are Economics and General Business with a GPA of 4.01 on a 5.0 scale. Brooke is part of the National Honors Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She is also a member of Student Council, Student Ambassadors, WJCA, and Varsity club. Outside of JCA, Brooke is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and takes part of Relay for Life. After JCA, she plants to attend Michigan State University with a perspective major in either Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Public Relations with a minor in Spanish.

Nicholas Lennon is the son of David and Susan Lennon. Nicholas has earned a GPA of 3.32 on a 4.0 scale with favorite subjects of Math and Business classes. He is a member of the Honor Roll, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honors Society, and Illinois State Scholar. Nicholas has been a team member of the Varsity golf team for 3 years, a member of the Math Team, the Respect Life Club, Student Ambassadors, and has been a Kairos Retreat Leader. Nicholas was recognized as the Golf-Individual Regional Champion his senior year, and placed 5th individually at the Math Team’s regionals and state competition. Outside of JCA, Nicholas is a member of the Illinois Representative Tom Cross Youth Government Council. After high school, Nicholas plans to attend Ohio State University declaring a major in Accounting.
