The Joliet Catholic Academy Varsity Scholastic Bowl team finished this year’s season winning 2^nd place at the Sectional Competition that was held at Manteno High School. On Monday evening, Joliet Catholic beat Crete-Monee High school leading with 130 points, a total score of 290 to 160. Later, JCA was beaten by Champaign-Centennial by a score of 300-180. Michael Bannon was the leading scorer with a total of 150 contributing points, Michael Fedrickson had 80 points, and Laura Gillespie and Ryan Hippman both brought in 20 points each.
