Led by senior Dyllan Mattea and junior Brandon Smith, the Joliet Catholic Academy boys’ golf team defeated Plainfield East (156-178). Mattea, a senior from Joliet, shot a 33 securing a new school record. Smith, a junior from Joliet, shot a 37.

At Plainfield South, Nick Gulas and Kellen McCullum led the team to a victory over the Cougars (167-184). Gulas and McCullum, seniors from Joliet, each shot a 41.

Hilltopper golf will return to the green Friday for the Don Nicholas Will County Invitational held at Wedgewood Golf Course and Saturday for the Bremen Invite held at Cardinal Creek Golf Course. Go Hill!
