OCTOBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce its October Students of the Month, Alex Blotnik (Joliet Noon Lions Club), Dyllan Mattea (Rotary Club of Joliet), and Nate Pultorak (Kiwanis Club of Joliet).

Alex Blotnik, daughter of Steven and Kathryn Blotnik of Shorewood is the Joliet Noon Lions Student of the Month for October. Alex is ranked in the top 10% of her class with a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. She is actively involved on campus as Vice President of Student Council and Mu Alpha Theta, Treasurer of Varsity Club and a member of the Respect Life Club and the National Honor Society and National French Honor Society. Alex is also the Captain of the Cross Country team and runs track as well. She hopes to attend the University of North Carolina after JCA and major in Secondary Education (Mathematics).

Dyllan Mattea, son of Richard and Annette Mattea of Joliet is the Rotary Club of Joliet Student of the Month. Dyllan is the President of the Spanish National Honor Society, Captain of the golf team, and a member of various clubs and honor societies such as National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, History Club, Math Team, Mock Trial Team, Scholastic Bowl Team, and Key Club. Dyllan hopes to attend Princeton University and take courses in preparation for law school.

Nate Pultorak, son of Edward and Susan Pultorak of Joliet is the Kiwanis Club of Joliet Student of the Month. Nate is active on campus as a member of the Respect Life Club and honor societies Mu Alpha Theta, National French Honor Society, and National Honor Society. He is also an award winning hammer dulcimer player, competing nationwide annually. After JCA, he plans to major in Theology and Communications at the University of Steubenville.
