LUMPKIN NOMINATED FOR MCDONALD’S ALL-AMERICAN GAME

McDonald’s has announced its list of high school seniors who have been nominated for the 2014 McDonald’s All-American Game. JCA senior basketball standout Jasmine Lumpkin is one of just four girls (and 13 students total) to be nominated for this opportunity. Jasmine, who has committed to continue her basketball career at the collegiate level at Big Ten school Michigan State University, is an Honor Roll student and leader at JCA. The 6 foot tall guard was named to the 2013 Chicago Tribune All-State team, as well as a host of other honors in her high school career. Jasmine is currently ranked at #51 in ESPNW’s Hoopgurlz Top 100 (#7 in her position) and has helped lead the Angels (12-0) to #16 on MaxPreps Top 25 National Ranking and #2 in the state . If selected, Jasmine will play in the 37th Annual McDonald’s All-American Game at the United Center on April 2nd. The final team will be announced on ESPNU at 5 p.m. on January 29th.
