JCA remains undefeated in conference play (8-0) and cruised to a 72-44 victory against St. Viator on Tuesday, February 4th.  The Angels were led by Nicole Ekhomu’s 17 points and 7 assists; and Jasmine Lumpkin’s 16 points, 9 rebounds.JCA enjoyed senior night with a lopsided 81-38 victory over non-conference Tinley Park on Thursday, February 6th.  Jasmine Lumpkin had an outstanding performance with 23 points; 21 at the half, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The girls were also featured as the Muscle Milk Team of the Week.

The Angels overall record is now 22-1 and will face Marian Catholic Wednesday, February 12th for the conference championship and ESCC bragging rights.  Wednesday will conclude regular season play. JCA will open Regional play on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:00 against the winner of Morris vs. Lincoln-Way West.
