The JCA Hockey team is in a fierce tie in the best of 3 series for the South Suburban League Championship Cougar Cup. Last Friday night, AWFM Renegades beat JCA 6-4 but on Saturday, JCA came back to beat AFV 3-1.  Goals were scored by JCA senior Ryan Hippman and Jr. Matt “Buko” Bukovsky with 2 assists by junior Thomas Ambrosia along with sophomores Bill Conti and Jared Hippman.

 The FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME for the Cougar Cup Championship will be played 5:40 Saturday night at Canlan Ice Arena 1581 W Normantown Road (SW of 55 & Weber Rd). JCA won the Varsity Division Championship which propelled them into the Cougar Cup for the first time in JCA Hockey history. The Cougar Cup is a traveling cup. Winners named are engraved and the cup stays with the school until the next season. Montini is part of the JWFM hockey team.
