Step-Up Day for 8th Graders

test

JCA’s tradition can be your tradition.

Experience the tradition that is Joliet Catholic Academy as the college preparatory high school for boys and girls hosts its annual Step-Up Day for 8th Graders on Friday, Nov. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

JCA’s Step-Up Day gives eighth graders a chance to see what it is like to be an Angel or Hilltopper. Eighth-grade students will have the opportunity to interact with high school teachers, coaches, and students as they move through a class schedule.

There will be fun demonstrations, games and performances. Eighth graders will experience JCA’s Computer Center, receive a free lunch served by the famous “Captain Bob” and his cafeteria staff, and meet up with students involved in nearly 60 clubs, organizations, honor societies, and sports teams.

The day will end with an official high school pep assembly where they will get a sneak peak of members of the Hillzone in action.

This invitation is extended to all eighth graders. Check with your school to see if they are attending as a class or if you need to register individually. If your class is attending, JCA will coordinate with the principal. If you need to register individually, you must register online by Oct. 24 at: www.jca-online.org/step-up-day-registration

Eighth-grade parents are invited to experience the JCA tradition at one of the school’s Open House events scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Joliet Catholic Academy is a tradition that you want to be part of.
