Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their December Joliet Noon Lions Club Student of the Month Cameron Haney.

With a GPA of 3.9, Haney’s favorite subject is Math. He is a member of the Key Club, Varsity Club, and Spanish Club.

Haney is a JCA Student Ambassador and Hillzone Leader. He played football for two years and has been on the varsity Wrestling Team for four. Recognized for his leadership skills and focus on wrestling, Haney was named team captain.

He is the son of Jane and Steven Haney of Plainfield and a member of Holy Family Parish.

Haney enjoys wakeboarding, boating, working out and hanging out with friends.

After high school, he plans to major in Business Management at the University of Illinois or Indiana University. Following college, Haney is interested in exploring the Navy SEAL program.
