Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their January Joliet Noon Lions Club Student of the Month Mary Rose Bruno.

With a GPA of 3.93, Bruno’s favorite subject is Anatomy/Science. She is a member of the National Honor Society and International Thespian Society.

Bruno is a JCA Student Ambassador, Kairos leader, and a member of the Drama Club, Red Cross Club, Respect Life Club, and Key Club. She attended March for Life held in Washington DC and has participated in the Catholic Heart Workcamp with the school.

Bruno is the daughter of Michael and Mary Lynn Bruno of Frankfort and a member of St. Joseph Church in Joliet. She is family oriented and has three siblings and a very large extended family.

Bruno is a strong believer and follower of the Catholic faith. She is actively involved in her parish choir, Curtain Call Community Theatre, and Nearly New Resale/Noonan Academy.

She enjoys acting singing, and community service. Bruno takes private vocal lessons through which she enters competitions and sings at different venues.

Although Bruno is still considering several colleges including Walsh University, Saint Mary’s University, Hillsdale College, and Benedictine College; she plans to major in Biology/Pre-Medicine and potentially become a registered physician’s assistant.
