Kids helping kids – St. Baldrick’s at JCA

2014_baldricks

Joliet Catholic Academy has partnered with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in an effort to shave away childhood cancer. While battling cancer, children lose not only their hair but years of their childhood, and sometimes their lives. In comparison to their struggle, The JCA family believes Hilltoppers shaving their head or Angels cutting off inches is a small sacrifice, and the money raised will make a difference for children with cancer now and in the future.

Joliet Catholic Academy invites you to participate; dare to go bald by registering as a shavee, make a donation, or volunteer to be a barber for Shave Day, Tuesday, March 17.

Barbers and/or stylists interested in participating should contact Jackie Cherwin at jcherwin@jca-online.org or 815.741.0500, ext. 449 for more information.

Together we can make a difference and Shave the Way to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!
