Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their April Rotary Club of Joliet Student of the Month Matt Dubiel.
With a GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale, Dubiel’s favorite subject is Math. He is an Illinois Sate Scholar, a member of the French National Honor Society, and a Scholastic Bowl team participant.
Dubiel enjoys playing hockey and football and was named ISMC Academic All-Conference. He also plays two musical instruments.
Dubiel is the son of Joanna and Paul Dubiel of Plainfield and a member of St. Mary Immaculate church.
After graduation, he plans on participating in a 5-year Physics and Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree Program while playing hockey in college. Dubiel will attend Lewis University and hopes to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
