Back to school is right around the corner!  Here are some friendly reminders:

Uniform and Lock Sale

You need to stop by at some point to purchase required items.  The Spirit shop does NOT re-open  until Monday, August 17.

Purchase: school uniform shirts, gym shirts, regulation locks, supplemental course materials (Biology Workbook, Chemistry goggles, etc.)

Tip: Bring your schedule and books to fill and organize your locker; walk your schedule.

Tip: Don’t forget your lock combination…take a picture of it!

School Supplies

There is NO school supply list.  During the first two days of school, teachers will give a course expectation sheet.  These sheets will include teacher requirements (binders, notebooks, ZIP drives, etc).

School Books

Please be sure you have ordered your school books from MDBS or any book site you wish to use.

Tip: ISBN numbers for your required school books can be found on the website under the Parent Tab – Book List

Or build your cart in the MDBS website (click Bookstore under the Parent Tab) and it will populate the ISBN numbers for you;  copy and paste the ISBN numbers into any site you wish to use.

Families have had success shopping Amazon and Abe Books for pleasant savings!

Mandatory Freshman Mass and BBQ

Student Activity Center – enter doors facing Ingalls Ave.

August 16  5:00 pm Mass

Mass is followed by important informational meeting and then a BBQ

(While not recommended due to the length of the event, younger siblings are welcome to attend)

Tip: If not done already, prepare your locker after the BBQ; ask student ambassadors for assistance and walk your schedule.
