Volleyball Hosting “Pink Heals” Breast Cancer Awareness Game Next Tuesday

Pink Heals Volleyball PosterWhat? JCA Girls Volleyball is hosting the First Annual Breast Cancer Awareness themed match vs. Carmel Catholic. Survivors of breast cancer, and love ones lost will be honored before the game in a short ceremony. Help the Angels raise awareness by wearing PINK, donating at the entrance door, purchasing an item at the bake sale, buying a $1 pink volleyball in “honor” or “memory” of someone that is or has dealt with breast cancer, or purchasing a “WE DIG PINK” volleyball shirt at the game for $15. All money raised will be donated to Pink Heals- The Joliet Area Chapter.

Extra donations can be given in an envelope addressed to JCA Volleyball Awareness Game/Pink Heals (Mrs. Kinsella). Any questions, please see Mrs. Kinsella.

For JCA Students: Tuesday, October 20th will be a $2 PINK Spirit Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Those participating can wear a pink colored shirt or an appropriate Breast Cancer Awareness shirt, and spirit day bottoms. Wristbands will be sold Monday morning, Monday during lunches, and Tuesday morning. Everyone needs to purchase a wristband in order to be out of regular dress code. All money raised will be donated to Pink Heals- The Joliet Area Chapter.

When? Tuesday, October 20th. Varsity Game begins at 6 p.m.

Who’s Invited? JCA Family, Students, Teachers, Friends, and anyone affected by Breast Cancer.
