Student Dress Code Shoe Policy (With Photos)

To clarify several questions on acceptable/unacceptable shoes the Dean’s Office has supplied photos highlighting what the Student Handbook outlines in the JCA Dress Code: Effective August, 2015. The only acceptable dress code shoe is the leather Sperry, top-sider style of shoe (it does not have to be the Sperry brand). Shoes must have at least two eyelets for laces on each side of the shoe so that the laces can be tightly tied at all times. The shoe must be worn completely on the foot. Canvas made shoes or leather shoes with a wide rubber band encircling the entire shoe are not allowed on any regular dress code day, nor are shoes of any recognized athletic brand. Sandals or flip-flops are never allowed under any JCA Dress Code.
