2017-2018 Admissions Timeline

  • September through April: Shadow Visit – 7th and 8th graders are invited to spend the day shadowing a JCA student.
  • September 1-December 2, 2017: Heritage Award Applications available for prospective 8th graders
  • Sunday, October 29, 2017: Open House, 10:00 a.m. –  2:00 p.m.
  • Friday, November 3, 2017: Step Up Day for 8th graders from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 9, 2017: Open House, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 29, 2017: Pre-Exam Workshop, 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 2, 2017: Placement Exam for all incoming freshmen, 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
  • November 1-December 31, 2017: FACTS Financial Aid window for Priority Financial Aid consideration for incoming freshmen
  • Thursday, January 18, 2018: Registration Night, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 15, 2018: Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship deadline. Click Here for more information on the Kazma Family Scholarship
  • March 1, 2018: Catholic Education Foundation Financial Aid FACTS application deadline; returning student financial aid deadline

  • June and July: Summer events and activity camps for incoming freshmen
  • August: Freshman Orientation

Transfer students

Present high school students seeking to transfer to Joliet Catholic Academy must contact the Vice Principal’s Office at 815.741.0500, ext. 216. A current transcript from the student’s school must be sent to JCA.

Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce participation in the Joliet Diocese Tuition Transfer Grant program for the 2017-2018 school year. Students entering grades ten through 12 who transfer from any public, private, charter or home school are eligible to receive a $4,000 transfer discount. ($3,000 discount off the 1st year enrolled and $1,000 off the 2nd year).

Students whose academic and disciplinary records are satisfactory will be contacted for an interview with a dean, counselor and Vice Principal, Bill Pender.
