Why
Give to the Annual Fund This Year?
Each fall, Joliet Catholic Academy initiates the Annual Fund, a fundraising program that operates annually during our fiscal year and provides our alumni, parents, grandparents, board members, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, friends and corporations an opportunity to secure the continued quality Catholic education that our students deserve. The Annual Fund benefits every aspect of the school by providing for operating expenses, and numerous other expenses at the school such as campus ministry, academics, tuition assistance, technology improvements, faculty development, and facilities management, just to name a few. Donors who support the Annual Fund at any level are helping to support the internal operations of the school, which is why it is the first gift we ask you to give each year to Joliet Catholic Academy.
Because Joliet Catholic Academy is a Catholic school, we operate without financial assistance from the government. We rely on tuition income, endowment income and income from our Annual Fund which supplements our budget. This is why your participation in this fundraising program is so necessary. Simply put, every gift to the Annual Fund impacts the school and the education of our students. No gift is too small!
When will you be asked to support the
Annual Fund?
You
will receive an Annual Fund solicitation letter each fall. In addition to this
mailing, the Development Office hosts an Annual Phone-a-Thon. This is a chance
for you to speak directly to a student or parent and to pledge your support to
the Annual Fund.
Can I specify how I want to restrict my
gift?
The
answer is yes. If there is a specific area that you would like to support with
your gift, please make a note of this when you make your gift. However,
unrestricted gifts are always greatly appreciated because they allow Joliet
Catholic Academy to direct your support to budget priorities outlined for the
fiscal year by the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
