The Joliet Catholic Academy Alumni Association will be holding the JCA Open Golf Classic on Friday, Aug. 16, at The Links at Carillon golf course in Plainfield. The event is open to alumni, parents and friends of JCA.

Tee-off for the scramble format will be at noon. Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $140, with cart plus lunch and dinner included. Dinner-only is $30.

A men’s, women’s, and senior’s champion honoring a foursome will be named.

There will be contests for longest drive, closest to the pin and “Beat the Alum.” A 50/50 raffle will be sold and sponsorship opportunities are available.

“It’s a feel-good day,” said Sue Bebar, Director of Alumni Relations. “What I love about the golf outing is that it doesn’t matter your age, young or old, or whether you are a Joliet Catholic, St. Francis Academy or JCA alum, a parent or a friend of the school, it’s a great opportunity for the JCA community to get together. The excitement is building for another great event that brings the JCA family together.”
