Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce senior Thomas Mueller as a 2014 National Merit Commended Student. A letter of commendation from Principal/CEO Jeffrey Budz and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation will be presented to Mueller recognizing his great accomplishment.

Approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the United States are being recognized for their exceptional academic accomplishments and promise. These students will not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, however they have placed in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million entrants who took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Thomas, of Plainfield, is the son of Matthew and Nancy Mueller and a member of Holy Family Parish.
