On November 1st, Joliet Catholic Academy celebrated a very special All Saints Day mass. Fr. Jeff delivered his homily on the subject of “What Do You Stand For?” after playing the popular song “Some Nights” by FUN. A subject and song that students can easily connect with, students were encouraged to look within and challenged to take a stand for themselves and their faith.  One such student did just that and made the decision to take the next step in her faith journey before her JCA family and before God. Sophomore Stephanie Gulden was received into the church and took her first communion at mass with her aunt Karen (an SFA alumna) as her sponsor.  The entire JCA family is glad to have been part of this very important moment in Stephanie’s life.
