Congratulations to the JCA pizza eating team who on Thursday, 1/23 won the Sam Mancuso Pizza Eating Contest at Giovan’s Restaurant in Crest Hill. This was a charity event that benefitted United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois Prairieland, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities. During the 30-minute time period the team consumed over 17 lbs. of pizza, beating out, among other schools, Providence. The team consisted of JCA seniors Zach Bell, JB Butler, Dirk Doden, Jalen Hansel, Joe McNulty, and Zach Rezin.
