Students Visit Paris

Students from JCA visited Paris for 3 days and saw monuments such as The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Arc de Triomphe, the Sacred Heart Basilica over Easter break. They also visited the museum of the Louvre and saw such famous works of art as Mona Lisa. They toured the city by night by bus and on a boat and saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle!
When they traveled south, they saw many places dating back to the Roman Empire including the Pont du Gard Aquaduct, the Nimes and Arles arenas. Finally, they went to the French Riviera where they took a boat ride on the Mediterranean Sea, visited a perfume factory, drove along the coast and saw Monte Carlo and Nice.
Students had a great experience of not only the country but also some of the customs. They attended the Easter Mass in Paris, sampled some of the food and enjoyed many crepes! They ventured to speak French whenever they could and  even tested the high speed bullet train!
