Joliet Catholic Academy is getting ready to celebrate Heritage / Homecoming Week. Events are planned beginning Sunday, September 28 through Sunday, October 5.

Angels and Hilltoppers are excited to learn more about the Joliet Catholic Academy heritage and tradition as they prepare to welcome alumni home.

The following is a detailed list of the events planned:

Hallway Decorating (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Junior/Senior Powder Puff Football Practice (12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)
Junior/Senior Powder Puff Football Game (2 p.m.)
Senior Class Cookout (4 p.m.)

Monday, September 29
Heroes and Villains Dress Theme
Heritage Prayer
Fall Sports / Homecoming Kick-Off Assembly (2:20 p.m.)

Tuesday, September 30
Hawaiian Day Dress Theme
Alms Giving Day / Mission Collection
Pack-the-Court Angels Tennis (4:30 p.m.)

Wednesday, October 1
College Day Dress Theme
Franciscan and Carmelite Presentation for Freshmen
Blessing of the Pets
Pack-the-Field Hilltopper Soccer (4:30 p.m.)
Block Party (4:30-7:00 p.m.) – $ 5 per person

Thursday, October 2
USA / American Pride Day Dress Theme
Picnic Lunch
Homecoming Court Assembly (2:20 p.m.)
Pack-the-Gym Angels Volleyball (6 p.m.)

Friday, October 3
Heritage Day Dress Theme
     (brown, blue, white or yellow polo shirt with dress code pants and shoes)
Heritage Mass
Student Tailgate party (2:40 p.m.) Parent are asked to provide the following:  Freshmen: Desserts (grab and go kind),  Sophomores: Box of Chips (single bag kind), Junior and Seniors: Case of Water
Homecoming Parade (4:30 p.m.)
Pack-the-Field Hilltopper Football (7:30 p.m.)
Crowning of Homecoming King and Queen (during halftime of the football game)

Saturday, October 4
Homecoming Dance (6:30 – 9:30 p.m.) Early pictures at 6 p.m.
Parents Homecoming Night Out (7:00 p.m.) Traditions Restaurant & Pub (inside the Joliet Park District)

Sunday, October 5
Alumni Homecoming Mass (10 a.m.)
