Angels Volleyball Serves Up Victory

It was Maddie Naal’s night of domination. The 5-11 senior middle hitter led JCA with 5 attack kills and 3 block kills Tuesday as the Angels rolled to a 25-12, 25-10 East Suburban Catholic Conference victory over host Bishop McNamara. Mary Murphy also had 9 assists and 3 aces for JCA (7-6, 2-1), while Meghan Harrison added 8 points and 6 digs. Senior libero Mallory Krzysciak continued to shine with 6 digs and served the match-winning points, including back-to-back aces. Keegan Fornoff contributed 7 points as well, while all 14 Angels played, and nine notched kills. “The girls did a nice job of serving aggressively, and I also thought we ran our middle attack very well,” JCA coach Christine Scheibe said.
