Joliet Catholic Academy proudly welcomes Laura Pahl, Vice Principal for Curriculum and Technology, to the JCA family.

Ms. Pahl was looking for an exciting administrative opportunity where she could best utilize her skills and passion for education, and she has found that at JCA. To her, Catholic education is a gift because it is essential to have God at the center of both teaching and learning. She also believes that celebrating Mass together, serving the greater community and supporting each other are the pillars that make JCA a special place. As she begins her tenure, she wants to bring innovative ways to enhance technology and provide challenging and meaningful learning experiences for the JCA community. Ms. Pahl holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Lewis University. Additionally, she has a master’s in education curriculum and instruction from Governors State University and a master’s in school leadership with a principal license from Concordia University. She loves sports, especially the Bulls and Bears, going to new restaurants, hanging out with family and friends, board games, and bonfires.
