Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their October Rotary Club of Joliet Student of the Month Francesca Gingoyon-Embrey.
With a GPA of 4.1 on a 4.0 scale, Gingoyon-Embrey’s favorite subjects are Algebra and Chemistry. She has received medals for academic distinction in English, Vocal Ensemble, and Environmental Science.
Gingoyon-Embrey is a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, International Thespian Honor Society, Math National Honor Society, Drama Club, Musical Theatre Troupe, Vocal Ensemble, Respect Life Club, and Spanish Club. She is a JCA Student Ambassador and the recipient of the OMNI-MTE Student Distinction Award: Academic and Performing Arts.
Gingoyon-Embrey is the daughter Mario Embrey and Maria Gingoyon of Romeoville, and she is a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
Gingoyon-Embrey received special recognition from JCA’s Drama Club in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress categories. She loves to sing and professed she sang before she could speak.
After high school, Gingoyon-Embrey plans on majoring in Biology or Anatomy at either the University of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola University or Lewis University. After completion of her academic studies, she plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
