On Monday, December 15 the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) sponsored a Spirit Day fundraiser for Daybreak Shelter. Students, faculty, and staff who wished to dress in spirit wear made a $2 donation. Those who did not wish to participate were required to be in regular dress code.

Approximately $1,150 was raised and used to purchase fabric to make 19 blankets, which were donated to Daybreak Shelter. The remainder of the proceeds will be used to fund other service projects for the shelter.

National Art Honor Society members thanked everyone for their help with the fundraiser. NAHS moderator Amanda Popow commented, “We were really able to help Daybreak with some of their needs.  They provide great service to people in need in our area.”
