Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their April Joliet Noon Lions Club Student of the Month Aron Goeken.

With a GPA of 4.0, Goeken’s favorite subject is Chemistry. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math National Honor Society), Varsity Club, Student Council, Key Club, and Spanish Club.

Additionally, he is a member of the Math Team, where he placed first in regional competition, and captain of the soccer and volleyball teams. As a varsity volleyball player, he received All Conference recognition.

In his spare time, Goeken enjoys reading, working out, and playing volleyball for Ultimate Volleyball Club.

He is the son of Kathy and John Goeken of Shorewood and a member of Holy Family Parish.

After high school, Goeken plans to attend the University of Illinois as a Chemical Engineer major. He hopes to pursue a career as an entrepreneur.

Looking ahead to college Goeken commented, “I am incredibly excited to go to college next year. I worked very hard in high school to get the chance to attend a prestigious university. I cannot wait to start applying what I learn in college into the real world.”
