Brenna Garland had a two-run single and Alyssa Callans pitched the victory as Joliet Catholic’s softball team won the Class 3A Kankakee Regional title Monday with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Lincoln-Way West.

The Angels will face Morris in the Morris Sectional semifinal at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Alivia Phelps chipped in two hits for JCA. Callans scattered six hits and struck out three. Rachel Andrade went 2 for 3 with an RBI to lead West (24-11).
