Junior High Cheerleaders:

Hello future Angels,

It’s that time of year again! We would like to take this time to invite all of our “future JCA
cheerleaders” who attended our cheer camp this summer to participate in a performance with the
JCA Cheerleaders. They will perform at halftime of the JCA Varsity football game on Friday,
October 21, 2016.
If you wish to participate, there will be a mandatory practice on Tuesday, October 18,
2016 from 5:30-7:00 pm at JCA. The practice will be upstairs in the Student Athletic Center.
On Friday, October 21, the day of the game, please arrive at the West side main entrance before the 7:30 pm varsity football game.
Cheerleaders will meet at the end of the first quarter behind the south end zone. Please wear the
camp shirt and black leggings/pants. Be sure to put layers on, as it will probably be cold.
Just a reminder, tickets for entry into the game are free for only the halftime performers.
Also we are very excited to announce that Friday night’s game will be also be a Breast Cancer Awareness game, with all fundraising proceeds going towards the Pink Heals – Joliet Chapter. The Cheer and Dance programs will be selling pink bows for $1 to campers to wear for their performance. Campers will also get the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Pink Heals Fire Truck. Their will also be donation jugs and t-shirts being sold, with all proceeds going towards Pink Heals as well.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact JCA Cheerleading coaches Kristen Stuckwisch and Elisabeth Adler at elisab929@yahoo.com or krisjaws@hotmail.com
Hope to see you soon,

Junior High Dance Campers:

Hello Everyone,

It’s that time of year again!! Time to come out and join the JCA Varsity Dance Team in their football halftime performance! Please see the practice time and performance time below.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Varsity Dance Team coach, Natalie Minarich, at nminarich@jca-online.org . Thank you and hope everyone can make it 🙂

Practice: Monday, October, 17th 3:30-5 upstairs in the Multi-Purpose roomPerformance : Friday, October 21st during halftime of the JCA Varsity Football game. The game begins at 7:30. At the beginning of 2nd Quarter, please bring your daughter(s) over to the grassy area of the South End Zone so that they can warm up and practice with the Varsity Dance Team.

What to wear for performance : Please have your daughter wear her pink “Joliet Catholic Academy Dance Team” shirt she received at camp, with either black, gray or white pants. It is usually cold, so they may want to layer as well and wear a long-sleeve shirt and/or sweatshirt underneath. Usually gym shoes work best in case it has rained earlier in the day, or if it is cold out.

**If you daughter(s) will be performing with the Varsity Cheer Team, they should layer their shirts accordingly: Cheer shirt on top, with Dance Team shirt underneath (Cheer performs first) **

Regards,
Natalie Minarich
