JJC Dual Credit Testing Information

Junior or senior students who are enrolled in Statistics upper college or honors, any level of Pre-calculus, or Psychology II for the upcoming school year.

These classes have the opportunity to earn free college credit through Joliet Junior college. This credit can be transferred to most 4 year colleges and universities.

If you plan on earning Dual Credit from Joliet Junior College for Statistics and have scored at least a 22 on the math portion OF THE ACT, you only have to fill out the dual credit application. If not, if you will need to take the ALEKS math placement exam at JJC.

If you are taking Pre-calculus and scored at least a 23 on the math portion OF THE ACT, you only need to fill out the application. If not, you will need to take the ALEKS math placement exam at JJC.

Prior to taking the JJC Math placement test, students need to obtain a JJC student id number by filling out the Dual Credit student application: the link is on the JCA web site along with a link for times and locations for taking the ALEKS test.  Students will need to bring their JOLIET JUNIOR College Student ID number with them to take the ALEKS test.

The placement test should be completed by August 10, 2018.
