On April 27, 2021, the JCA administration was notified of a video referencing Jeremy Hylka, a former employee, that was inappropriate in nature. JCA immediately alerted the Joliet Police and the Diocese of Joliet.
On June 2, 2020, the JCA administration was made aware of online allegations against said former teacher. JCA immediately informed the Joliet Police of these allegations and worked with the Diocese regarding the police investigation. The teacher was put on leave and subsequently resigned.
