[Joliet, IL] โ€“ Joliet Catholic Academy senior, Vivica Bofah has earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. Vivica was awarded the National African American Recognition Award. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them meaningfully connect to colleges and stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs identify students awarded National African American, Hispanic, Indigenous and/or Rural/Small Town Recognition through College Boardโ€™s Student Search Service.
JCA president / principal Dr. Jeffrey Budz stated, โ€œOn behalf of the JCA administration, faculty and staff, we offer our congratulations to Vivica on this wonderful accomplishment. We are thrilled that she represents our school through this recognition and are very proud of her achievements in the classroom and on the College Board assessments. We know that Vivica will be very successful in all of her future endeavors.โ€
