Joliet Catholic Academy Recognizes 23 students from the Class of 2023 as Illinois State Scholars

(Joliet, IL) Joliet Catholic Academy President/Principal Dr. Jeffrey Budz is proud to announce that 23 members of the Class of 2023 have been named Illinois State Scholars, by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (isac.org). The State Scholar Program recognizes students attending approved high schools for outstanding academic achievement. State scholar designation provides honorary recognition with no monetary award. Approximately the top ten percent of graduates from approved high schools are announced as State Scholars each year.

“We are very proud of our students who earned Illinois State Scholar status,” says Dr. Budz. “These individuals put in much time and effort to achieve academic success with many of them going above and beyond in and out of the classroom.  We know that this will not be the last time they achieve such an extraordinary accomplishment, for they all have many great successes ahead of them. ”
