In partnership with Joliet Township High School District 204, the Will County Center for Economic Development (CED) established the Will County Summer Internship Program in 2023 to allow students to discover career paths while gaining community connections through their participation in paid internships. The program launched over the summer with 48 local students completing paid internships. The program was a great success! The CED is now looking to expand this program to all Will County Schools in the Summer of 2025, and Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce its participation in next summer’s program, providing JCA students invaluable real-world experience, preparing them for future careers.

 

We need your help! Paid internship providers are needed.

 

Are you interested in becoming an internship provider? Will County businesses or organizations interested in learning more about the internship program and how they can benefit by hosting one or more paid interns are invited to attend the CED Summer Internship Informational Breakfast. Join us on either September 5 at the JTHS Administrative Center, 300 Caterpillar Drive in Joliet. Breakfast is available at 7:30 a.m. with the program following from 8 to 9 a.m. or on September 16 at Hop Scotch & Vine in Plainfield, 25047 W. Lockport St. at 8 a.m.
