JCA is offering the ACT as an official testing option for our Juniors. On Wednesday March 19th our 11th grade students may take the digital version (no writing) of the ACT here at the school. The ACT is considered an official test and can be used for college application and scholarship purposes. Only Juniors will be in the building while the rest of the student body will be on a live remote schedule. Juniors will be dismissed upon completion of the test typically around 11:30am.
We recommend that all juniors take the ACT this Spring here at JCA. We feel it is important for them to have a test score as they begin their college application process and for scholarship purposes.
We (JCA Counseling) will upload the testing roster to ACT, so registration for the ACT will take place on our end. However, you will need to use the link below to pay for the test through JCA. All instructions for payment are detailed for you when you click on the payment link.
Last week, you received an email message from Mrs. Voltz or Mrs. Pullara regarding your Junior Planning Meeting. We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity to discuss and plan the next steps in the exciting journey of college/career search, application, and acceptance. We are happy to be a small part of this process and are here for you each step of the way. Again, please know that we do believe at this time, a test score is still helpful and, in some cases, most necessary. Discussing this entire, important process with our College Counselors has proven to be fruitful and productive.
Below please find the link to pay for the ACT here at JCA. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Counseling Department.
