Class Schedules
Class schedules have been e-mailed to students. Schedule change requests must be made in writing. Forms are available on the JCA Website under the Students tab, or in the Main office. More than one change request can be made on the same form. There is a $75 fee for the changes requested. No schedule change is official until the student receives written notification. If a change cannot be made, the fee will be returned.

Book List
Student books for the 2023-2024 school year can be purchased through the BNC Direct Website: http://www.mbsdirect.net/index.php. The link can also be found under the parents tab on the www.jca-online.org under “Bookstore”. The BNC bookstore opens on July 10, 2023.
We are also providing a list of the ISBN numbers for all books on the list, if you wish to purchase books through another vendor.

1:1 Technology
During the 2018-2019 school year, JCA completed the 1:1 initiative that was started in 2016. Every student will have his or her own personal Windows-based laptop to be used both in class and at home. As a college preparatory school, a device for every student is imperative to ensure that our graduates are not only able to meet the technological demands at the university level, but are able to stand out among the competition.
In an effort to make high quality devices possible for every student, families have the options to purchase one of the devices that have been chosen as strong options, through a convenient online portal provided by JCA. If it is preferred, students can bring their own chosen device that meets the specifications set forth by the school. Specific information about the devices and portal is sent to incoming freshmen families around May of their 8th grade year.

Monthly Parent Pride Newsletter
Each month, the JCA communications office releases via email a Parent Newsletter. The JCA Parent Pride Newsletter highlights news and events for that upcoming month of school. Also, in the event that you missed an e-mail, or phone call, never hesitate to contact JCA at communications@jca-online.org with a question or concern.
