The end of the legislative session is this week Friday, May 19. We must keep the pressure on lawmakers to #RemoveTheSunset and save the Tax Credit Scholarship Program. Your voice matters, NOW more than ever!
Hundreds of families and school leaders from our statewide coalition have been champions for the program in Springfield. You, too, can actively support the campaign by reaching out to your lawmaker once again to make sure they know saving the program is a top priority.
Joliet Catholic Academy will also be attending the last legislative session on Friday, May 19th and is urging as many current parents as possible to make the trip. RSVP to the JCA Development Office HERE if you are able to attend. Further details about arrival and departure times will be shared soon.
Folks across the state are continuing to raise their voices on behalf of the Tax Credit Scholarship Program. Check out this new editorial from the Chicago Tribune.
Additionally, several groups, including the Labor Union leaders, Cardinal J. Blase Cupich and the Catholic Bishops of Illinois, Midwest Jesuits, and JCA have spoken out in support of the program. Thank you!
