This quarter, JCA proudly hosted 21 students and two teachers from Escola Pia Vilanova, near Barcelona, Spain. This completed the first half of our third exchange with this wonderful school. Our guests arrived on August 29th and were immediately impressed with our spirit while attending our football game that night. Other group events included a welcome party, several trips to different neighborhoods in Chicago, and much more. Students from Spain also attended school with their host brother/sister. The group departed on September 10, and although it was a tearful goodbye, many of us will see them again in the spring, when we complete the exchange and visit their school.
