Joliet Catholic Academy President/Principal Dr. Jeffrey Budz is pleased to announce the February Students of the Month: Connor Neville (Kiwanis Club), Tess Bebar (Rotary Club) and Tyler Dixon (Lions Club). JCA is proud of the success these students have exhibited both in the classroom and out in the community.
Connor Neville, son of John and Kimberly Neville of Plainfield is a graduate of Timber Ridge Middle School. He is a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, is an Illinois State Scholar, and is a Kairos leader. Connor is the Key Club President, and is a member of the Golf team, Baseball team, and the Habitat for Humanity Club. Connor has not decided his college plans just yet, but is considering Auburn, Purdue, Oklahoma State, or Baylor. He wants to get his degree in Aviation, get his pilot’s license, and hopes to be a flight instructor before becoming a commercial airline pilot.
Tess Bebar, daughter of Ron and Sue Bebar of Shorewood, is a graduate of Minooka Junior High. She is an officer for the National Math Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and is a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, and National English Honor Society. She is involved with the Key Club, Spanish Club, Student Ambassadors and is a Kairos leader. Tess is an accomplished dancer serving as a key member of the 3rd place and 4th place State finishers for JCA. Tess has served as the captain of the Dance team. Tess is still undecided about her college plans, but is choosing between Miami of Ohio, Michigan State, Iowa State, Auburn, or Florida State. Tess wants to study Chemical Engineering or something in the field of Math.
Tyler Dixon, son of Geoff and Julie Dixon of Lockport is a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School. He is a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Spanish Honor Society. Tyler is involved with the Economics Club, and Habitat for Humanity and is an Illinois State Scholar. He plans to attend the University of Central Florida and major in Computer Science.
