Joliet Catholic Academy is proud to announce their January Rotary Club of Joliet Student of the Month Margaret Bannon.

With a GPA of 3.65 on a 4.0 scale, Bannon’s favorite subject is Math. She is an Illinois State Scholar, Honors Program student, Kairos Leader, Student Ambassador, and Student Council Vice President.

Bannon is a member of Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), Leo Club, Respect Life Club, Vocal Ensemble, and Scholastic Bowl Club. She is a Meals on Wheels volunteer and captain of the girls cross country team.

Bannon is the daughter of Patrick and Susan Bannon of Joliet and a member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond. She has two sisters, one older and one younger, and is currently employed by the Jacob Henry Mansion.

After graduation in the spring, Bannon plans to attend Western Michigan University and major in Industrial Engineering.
