7-on-7 Passing Jamboree

Joliet Catholic Academy head coach Dan Sharp ‘74, the Hilltopper coaching staff, and current Hilltopper players will be on hand for the inaugural Hilltopper Youth Football 7-on-7 Passing Jamboree. “Junior High Level” Travel Tackle Football Teams will compete in a round-robin format, against teams at their appropriate weight class.

Each hour-long contest will consist of 25 offensive and 25 defensive plays. Each team will be guaranteed three games. Scores are not kept in the games, which are played on 40-yard fields. Helmets must be worn by all players. Concessions will be available throughout the event.

All participants will receive a 2016 Hilltopper Football T-Shirt and a junior high athletic pass/magnet in the mail, which will allow for free admission to all JCA home athletic events during the 2016-2017 school year.

JCA Passing Jamboree Information

Date: Saturday, August 6, 2016

Who: “Junior High” level tackle football teams (opponents will be matched up based on weight class/level)

Time: 9:00 a.m.  (Registration will be from 7:45 a.m.-8:15 a.m. in the JCA Student Activity Center located along Ingalls Ave.). JCA Head Coach Dan Sharp will also address the teams after registration, outline the day’s schedule, address rules and safety concerns, and handle t-shirt handout.

Cost: $50 (Mail checks to Dan Sharp, JCA Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. 1200 N. Larkin Ave., Joliet, IL, 60435)

Where: JCA Athletic Fields, 1200 N. Larkin Ave., Joliet, IL (Parking will be available in the back parking lot off Ingalls Ave.

JCA Youth Passing Jamboree Registration

  • Teams should bring 6th-8th grader level players. Because of weight class limitations, we will match up Varsity with Varsity, Junior Varsity with Junior Varsity, etc. Depending on league affiliation, we will match up weight classes as close as possible to maintain fairness.
  • Player Contact Information

    All registered teams will be contacted via e-mail to submit a roster complete with player contact information and an insurance liability waiver that must be signed via electronic signature/online form. Players that do not submit their contact information by August 6th will be ineligible to participate.
