Three Joliet Catholic Academy alumni were a part of the West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association banquet hosted on September 5 in La Grange, Illinois.
The association was established in 1960 and is a group which shares information on crime fighting strategies and also lobbies state legislators to enhance crime prevention laws in Illinois.
A new board was sworn-in by United States Attorney John Lausch. Ed Rompa was elected as the new president of the association. Lausch was also the keynote speaker. During the presentations led by Lausch, all three mentioned the impact Joliet Catholic had on their leadership skills and how the most successful football program (Joliet Catholic Football) in Illinois history has had such a positive influence in their careers.
